Legend, Myth or Truth
In England and France during the Middle Ages it was commonly believed to be the beginning of birds’ mating season on February 14th thus, the idea was borne that this should be the selected date whereby one could express love and romance to their partner.
Today it is celebrated with gifts, red roses and romantic weekend breaks with the one you love.
